Buy lift tickets in advance online — they are significantly cheaper and sometimes sell out.

Stay in Whistler Village or Upper Village — ski-in ski-out makes the whole trip easier.

Powder days happen fast — follow @WhistlerBlackcomb on Instagram for overnight snow alerts.

The Peak 2 Peak gondola has glass-bottomed cabins — do this at least once even if you are not skiing.

Après ski culture at Whistler is serious — GLC and Longhorn Saloon are the classics.

February is the sweet spot — good snowpack, fewer holiday crowds than December-January.
Weekend Strike
Whistler Weekend
Friday
Fly into Vancouver (YVR). Rent a car or take the Whistler Shuttle (easier). Arrive Whistler village, grab gear from rental shops on Village Stroll. Dinner at Araxi.
Saturday
On snow by 8:30am — Whistler Mountain first, hit Harmony Bowl, then Peak chair. Lunch at Roundhouse Lodge. Afternoon on Blackcomb. Après ski at Garfinkel's.
Sunday
Early start Blackcomb — Spanky's Ladder if conditions allow. Afternoon: speed down easier groomers before driving back to YVR.
Full Week Strike
Whistler Full Week
Day 1
Arrive, get settled, afternoon ski to get your legs.
Day 2
Full day Whistler Mountain — explore every zone.
Day 3
Full day Blackcomb — Glacier, 7th Heaven, Spanky's.
Day 4
Powder day plan — whichever mountain got the most snow. Hit trees early before they get tracked out.
Day 5
Snowmobile tour or cat skiing in the backcountry for something different.
Day 6
Peak 2 Peak day — ski from one mountain to the other all day.
Day 7
Final morning laps, drive back to Vancouver, fly home.
