About
The Remarkables ski area sits above Queenstown on a spectacular jagged ridge above Lake Wakatipu. Combined with nearby Coronet Peak, it offers a serious two-resort package with a genuine adventure ambience. Queenstown is the world's outdoor adventure capital and skiing here combines well with bungy jumping, skydiving, and the incredible South Island landscape.
The Mountain
Alta — expert terrain into the backcountry bowl with spectacular lake views throughout.
Ideal Conditions
Southern Ocean low pushing moisture onto the Southern Alps, cold enough for good snow coverage at lower elevations.
