About

Ogunquit Beach is a 3-mile sandbar beach in southern Maine, the main surf destination north of Massachusetts. Picks up the same Atlantic swell as the New Hampshire coast. Quieter town than the NH beaches, with a strong local scene and real seasonal variation. Hurricane swell and winter Nor'easters deliver the best conditions.

The Break

Ogunquit Beach β€” long exposed sandbar beach. Peaks reshape with each storm.

Ideal Conditions

E/NE swell 3-8ft, offshore W/NW wind, mid tide
