About
Narragansett is the heart of Rhode Island surfing, a long beach break that picks up all of New England's swell with slightly better exposure to SE swells than the Massachusetts beaches. The town has a full surf scene, multiple shops, and a dedicated local community. Fall and winter deliver the best conditions.
The Break
Narragansett Town Beach and the point β beach break with a rocky point on the south end that holds larger swell.
Ideal Conditions
SE/E swell 3-10ft, offshore W/NW wind, mid to low tide
