About

Martinique Beach is the longest sand beach in Nova Scotia and a short drive east of Lawrencetown. Less crowded than its neighbor, with similar swell exposure. Remote feel, protected as a provincial park, and still lightly surfed even on firing days. Deep winter only — same cold-water commitment as the rest of the region.

The Break

Martinique Beach — long exposed beach break. Peaks form at multiple places along the length.

Ideal Conditions

NE/E swell 4-10ft, offshore N/NW wind, mid tide
