About

Engelberg sits below the Titlis glacier at 3,020m and offers year-round skiing on the glacier alongside exceptional off-piste terrain for experts. The famous rotating cable car to the summit offers glacier access and stunning Alpine views. The resort is less glamorous than Zermatt or Verbier — and significantly less expensive, while offering comparable if not superior skiing.

The Mountain

Laub off-piste descent — one of the wildest expert runs in Switzerland, a massive glacier bowl.

Ideal Conditions

Central Alps low-pressure system delivering heavy snowfall to the Titlis glacier, then clearing conditions.
